The Advanced Training Workshop on Microsurgery & Periodontal Regeneration is an interactive course aiming at clinicians wishing to upgrade their skills in the periodontal regeneration using a surgical microscope . The course consists of an integrated approach designed to build and extend the competence of the practicing periodontist in the area of contemporary microsurgery and minimally invasive surgery. The material will be covered with lectures powered by 2D and 3D video demonstrations, focused hands-on training on animal models, and case discussions.

Il Corso teorico – pratico avanzato sull’ “Allungamento di Corona Clinica e Rapporti Perio - Restaurativa” è un corso interattivo, che si sviluppa attraverso lezioni teoriche supportate da videofilmati con tecnologia 3D. Il corso è indirizzato a Odontoiatri che vogliono migliorare la loro capacità di diagnosticare, pianificare e trattare situazioni cliniche in cui una compromissione dento-parodontale pone un quesito critico: trattare il dente o rimuoverlo e sostituirlo? Vengono così coinvolti gli aspetti endodontici, parodontali e restaurativi dei denti compromessi. In particolare il corso svilupperà i criteri diagnostici e prognostici sui quali fondare le decisioni terapeutiche. Affronterà poi varie situazioni cliniche: lesioni della corona clinica che richiedono il ripristino della dimensione biologica attraverso chirurgia resettiva e/o estrusione ortodontica per favorire la terapia restaurativa; situazioni con lesioni endodontiche in cui il trattamento o il ritrattamento endodontico assumono una rilevanza clinica; preservazione e/o ricostruzione del tessuto dentale per restaurare funzione ed estetica. Un elemento di grande novità è rappresentato dall’adozione di una metodica di allungamento della corona clinica minimamente invasiva che permette di ridurre drasticamente la rimozione di gengiva aderente e di osso alveolare.

Il corso è indirizzato a Odontoiatri che vogliono migliorare la loro capacità di diagnosticare, pianificare e trattare situazioni cliniche in cui una compromissione parodontale grave pone un quesito critico: trattare il dente o rimuoverlo e sostituirlo? Vengono così coinvolti gli aspetti endodontici, parodontali e restaurativi dei denti compromessi. In particolare il corso svilupperà i criteri diagnostici e prognostici sui quali fondare le decisioni cliniche. Saranno discusse le basi teoriche e mostrate le metodiche chirurgiche per applicare la terapia rigenerativa su difetti infraossei. Saranno discussi, pianificati e trattati casi clinici in con dimostrazioni video 3D per la traslazione dei concetti teorici su casi clinici reali. Saranno affrontate poi varie situazioni cliniche con lesioni parodontali profonde in cui il trattamento o il ritrattamento endodontico assumono una rilevanza clinica. Nella parte pratica ogni partecipante potrà applicare le metodiche chirurgiche discusse su simulatore.
